The Adviser for Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Makkah governor and Central Haj Committee chairman, Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, honored Mobily for its support and in sponsoring the National Media Awareness Campaign organized by the Makkah Governorate with the aim to educate and guide the pilgrims of 1437 Haj season, at a ceremony in the holy city.
Mobily has been sponsoring this campaign for the seventh consecutive year in a move that aims to promote the objectives of this national campaign and to deliver a noble message out of its social responsibility.
The “National Media Awareness Campaign” is an awareness campaign targeting pilgrims under the slogan: “Haj is a Peace Message” aims to enhance global peace through performing Haj, the fifth pillar of Islam. The campaign constitutes of five stages. The first is respect and honoring for Makkah, the second is concerned with the reception of pilgrims, whereas the third stage conveying a message in answering to the question: “Why Haj permission is necessary?
The fourth stage conveys a message related to pilgrims behaviors, and finally the fifth stage carries a message of thanks for workers, volunteers and pilgrims for their compliance to directives.
The “National Media Awareness Campaign” organized by Emirate of Makkah in an effort to educate the pilgrims, emerges from the keenness and care provided by the wise leadership of the kingdom towards the “Two Holy Mosques”. It is worth noting that the objectives of the campaign are based on the sense of responsibility entrusted to the organizers to offer the best means of comfort and support to the pilgrims and visitors of the Two Holy Mosques.
Mobily is so keen to harness all its professional services and human resources for the service of pilgrims and work in coordination with the various governmental agencies and private sector in order to implement this noble and honorable goal. Moreover, Mobily has prepared its plans that enable the pilgrims to realize the extent of technical progress and the latest technologies used in the CIT provided services in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030.
