Twitter will soon reveal an automatic “Night Mode” user interface (UI) to its Android application that will swap out the white background and change it with a darker appearance.
The testing of the new feature is going on among a little number of alpha analyzers, technology sites DroidLife investigated Tuesday.
As of now, the standard white background UI with black is the only option available to users.
“Not only is Twitter testing a “Night Mode”, but different button placements, too. Twitter is also experimenting with hamburger slide-out menus, overflow buttons, as well as floating action buttons (FAB) for the composing of new tweets,” the report added.
Once revealed, the “Night Mode” UI will automatically replace the white background with a dark blue user interface matched with white to make it simple on the eyes during the night.
